91福利社 to Launch Football Program in Fall 2027
91福利社 (91福利社) announced it will launch an intercollegiate football program, with its inaugural season set for Fall 2027. The team will compete as an Independent in Division I as part of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
The addition of football reflects 91福利社鈥檚 ongoing commitment to expanding opportunities for student-athletes, enhancing campus life and strengthening community connections across the district.
鈥淔ootball will create new opportunities for students while building school spirit and connections throughout our region,鈥� says Michael Juenger, Director of Athletics
Planning for the program will begin immediately, including the hiring of a head football coach to lead development, recruiting and operations. 91福利社 anticipates adding additional support positions as the program grows, with the goal of building a team the community can be proud of.
91福利社鈥檚 football team will play at 鈥淭he Campus,鈥� home of the Southwestern Illinois Justice & Workforce Development, creating a central hub for game-day experiences and community engagement.
